Site Rules.

general rules,

1) please respect all members and staff at all times! don't purposely annoy people, please. feuds need to be kept OFF the site.

2) SH is rated R for mature. this doesn't mean to wreak havoc everywhere. please use manners and keep all topics tasteful. if you question if your thread doesn't follow this rule, it's probably because it doesn't.

3) do not advertise ANYWHERE on the site except for the advertising section. having links in your signature is a ban-able offense.

4) if your bio is sent to revise or rejected, simply edit the bio and post that you have finished. never repost the same bio or delete your bio. deleting bios is a ban-able offense.

5) if you are ever confused, don't be afraid to contact one of the staff members. we don't bite.

image rules,

1) avatars may not exceed 100x100 pixels.

2) signatures cannot exceed 450 pixels in width, and 300 pixels in height.

3) all characters must have an anime or manga face claim! video games are allowed as long as they are anime in nature. you may not use something you've drawn.

4) your avatar must be of your face claim only.

5) do not ever stretch the page of the site!

6) images must not contain inappropriate material.

in character rules,

1) one character per account.

2) be original with your characters, please! no carbon copies.

3) you may have as many characters as you please, but all must remain active.

4) taking canon characters is a large responsibility, and canons will be taken away from their players if fallen inactive.

5) we do not accept gary stus or mary sues. these are virtually perfect characters. everyone has flaws, so be realistic.

6) no goddmodding or powerplaying.

7) this site is death-disabled. if any characters are killed ICly, it is done through pure storyline only.

8) you may be in as many threads as you please, with any character, at any given time.

posting rules,

1) use spell check when posting! proboards has a button for it on the reply page, and firefox has one built in.

2) chatspeak in character is forbidden. don't do it.

3) capitalization is not necessary for roleplay posts, although encouraged.

4) when coloring posts, do NOT blind people with bright colors, or use colors that blend into the site, making them difficult to read. please do not center align posts, as they make for a choppy reading.

5) do not one line. what is this i don't even know.
